Privacy

The calculators on mytipsplit.com run in your browser. We do not ask you to create an account, and we do not upload the bill you type. If you copy a summary, that text stays on your device until you paste it somewhere else.

What we collect

The host may see ordinary web logs (IP address, user agent, pages requested) the same way any site on a CDN does. We do not sell a marketing list because we do not have one.

Cookies, analytics, and ads

There is no cookie wall in front of the tools. Two analytics vendors are on today.

Vercel Web Analytics counts page views without setting cookies and without building a profile of you.

Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-TYEQ6JBPK6) loads gtag.js from googletagmanager.com after the page becomes interactive. Unlike the above, it does set first-party cookies — the _ga family — to tell repeat visits apart, and the data it gathers is processed by Google under Google’s own privacy policy and retention settings, not ours.

Neither one sees the bill you type. The calculators run in your browser and never transmit the amounts. There is no AdSense and no Plausible. If we later add an ad or another vendor, that vendor will collect data under its own policy, ad slots will sit below the result or below the FAQ — not over the inputs, and this page will name the vendor here before it goes on.

Affiliates

We do not run affiliate links today. If a travel card or a restaurant tool is ever linked with a referral tag, we will say so on that page and keep an affiliate disclosure.
